FW: beza RM3000 vs RM10000

June 17, 2009 at 4:21 pm (article, artikel, malay) (, , , , , )

Jika aku mampu menulis lagi!

Hot Chocolate

February 26, 2009 at 9:50 am (article, artikel, english) (, , , )

A group of graduates, well established in their careers, were talking at a reunion and decided to go visit their old university professor, now retired. During their visit, the conversation turned to complaints about stress in their work and lives. Offering his guests hot chocolate , the professor went into the kitchen and returned with a large pot of hot chocolate and an assortment of cups – porcelain, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite – telling them to help themselves to the hot chocolate .

When they all had a cup of hot chocolate in hand, the professor said: ‘Notice that all the nice looking, expensive cups were taken, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress. The cup that you’re drinking from adds nothing to the quality of the hot chocolate . In most cases it is just more expensive and in some cases even hides what we drink. What all of you really wanted was hot chocolate , not the cup; but you consciously went for the best cups… And then you began eyeing each other’s cups.

FW: TEKNIK BERTENGKAR SECARA POSITIF

December 1, 2008 at 12:04 pm (article, artikel, malay) (, , , , )

Renung-renungkan…dan selamat beramal….Demi kebahagiaan rmh tangga…

1. Jgn Terlampau Byk Berckp
Ketika bertengkar, hati masing-masing pasti dalam keadaan marah. Ketika
masing-masing mahu menegakkan pendapat masing-masing.
menegakkan pendapat anda sendiri.

pasangan mengungkit kelemahan anda.
Jika mahu menegur pasangan, minta dia meluahkan ketidak-puasan hatinya
meninggikan suara.

FW: Another safety alert

December 1, 2008 at 12:01 pm (Uncategorized) (, , , , )

Safety in Public Places

My 9 year old son was mugged yesterday in the washroom of KLCC Mosque.

My son was attending a 2 weeks holiday course at the KLCC Mosque from 8.00am-5.00pm Monday – Thursday. Yesterday (19/11/08) at around 11am, my son went to the Mosque’s washroom with 2 friends, both 8 year olds. A man with his face covered with some cloth, leaving only his eyes exposed, was waiting in the Mosque’s washroom. The man grabbed my son, held him in a hug and searched my son’s body for any precious items. Found a very old handphone in my son’s pocket, took that and thank god, let my son go. The 2 friends of my son were terrified when my son was grabbed and ran out of the toilet. As soon as my son was released, he ran back to his class located in the prayer area of the mosque and informed the teacher who then reported the incident to the Mosque’s security. The security guards apprehended a man later but was released as my son confirmed that he was not the criminal based on clothes and body size identification.

Fw: Useful tips to prevent bad thing from happening

November 6, 2008 at 3:52 pm (article, artikel, english) (, , , , , , , , )

PUT YOUR CAR KEYS BESIDE YOUR BED AT NIGHT

Tell your spouse, your children, your neighbors, your parents your Dr office, the check-out girl at the market, everyone you meet.

Put your car keys beside your bed at night. If you hear a noise outside your home or someone trying to get in your house, just press the panic button for your car. The alarm will be set off, and the horn will continue to sound until either you turn it off or the car battery dies.

This tip came from a neighborhood watch coordinator. Next time you come home for the night and you start to put your keys away, think of this:

It’s a security alarm system that you probably already have and requires no installation. Test it. It will go off from most everywhere inside your house and will keep honking until your battery runs down or until you reset it with the button on the key fob chain. It works if you park in your driveway or garage If your car alarm goes off when someone is trying to break in your house, odds are the burglar/rapist won’t stick around…
After a few seconds all the neighbors will be looking out their windows to see who is out there and sure enough the criminal won’t want that. And remember to carry your keys while walking to your car in a parking lot. The alarm can work the same way there ….

FW: Why we should go home on time

October 30, 2008 at 4:07 pm (article, artikel, english) (, , , , , , )

Good Article…..

Mr. Narayana Murthy is undoubtedly one of the most famous persons from Karnataka.

He is known not just for building the biggest IT Empire in India but also for his simplicity.

Almost every important dignitary visits InfoSys campus.

He delivered an interesting speech during an employee session with another IT company in India.

He is incidentally, one of the top 50 influential people of Asia according to an Asiaweek publication and also the new IT Advisor to the Thailand Prime Minister.

Extract of Mr. Narayana Murthy’s Speech during Mentor Session:

I know people who work 12 hours a day, six days a week, or more.

Some people do so because of a work emergency where the long hours are only temporary.

Other people I know have put in these hours for years.

I do not know if theyare working all these hours, but I do know they are in the office this long.

Read On and Take care nxt time u drive in Malaysia.

Notice on car

Just last weekend on Friday night, we parked in a public parking area. As we drove away I noticed a sticker on the rear window of the car. When I took it off after I got home, it was a receipt for petrol. Luckily my friend told me not to stop as it could be someone waiting for me to get out of the car. Then we received this email yesterday:

WARNING FROM POLICE

BEWARE OF PAPER ON THE BACK WINDOW OF YOUR VEHICLE – NEW WAY TO DO CAR-JACKINGS (NOT A JOKE)

You walk across the car parking, unlock your car and get inside. You start the engine and shift into Reverse. When you look into the rear view mirror to back out of your parking space, you notice a piece of paper stuck to the middle of the rear window. So, you shift into neutral, unlock your doors, and jump out of your car to remove that paper (or whatever it is) that is obstructing your view.

FW: rasa beruntung kalau selalu kena tindih

September 20, 2008 at 8:39 pm (article, artikel, malay) (, , , , )

Fenomena kene tindih… kepercayaan ataupun kebenaran?

Just to share…  aku baca segmen pengalaman menyeramkan dalam book and readings, byk sgt orang dok citer pasal pengalaman kena tindih ni……. betul ker kena tindih disebabkan gangguan makhluk seperti jin atau hantu?

Orang ramai describe kena tindih seperti takleh gerakkan seluruh badan, hujung jari, terasa berat kat dada… nampak mender2 pelik2 (hantu, makhluk hitam dan sebagainyer).

kalau aku tanya sini, mesti ramai jawab pernah kena….aku pun jujur pernah ade pengalaman kena ‘tindih’ ni masa skolah menengah dulu… aderla dalam 3-4 kali jugak… masa tu aku sedar… boleh bukak mata separuh….. aku tau aku sedar… tapi takleh gerak… kadang2 geram, sbb takleh gerak….. pastu 5 minit baru leh gerak…. aku dulu pun takut… mmg ingat kena hempap dah… lepas boleh gerak tu seram sejuk jer…

tapi, setelah aku masuk U belajar pasal tubuh badan manusia….. barula aku tau kebenaran dia…. ni aku nak citer sket pasal fenomena hempap/tindih atau nama medical nyer ’sleep paralysis’.
